President’s vs Captain’s Charity Match 2026

John Tombs receives the President’s vs Captain’s winners trophy from Chris Old following this year’s 2026 Charity Match, with the President’s team coming out on top.
It was another enjoyable day for the club, with plenty of friendly competition and good support from members throughout.
Most importantly, the day raised over £400 for Leukaemia UK. A big thank you to everyone who took part, supported the event and contributed to the fundraising.
Congratulations to John and the President’s team, and commiserations to Chris Old, who was standing in as Captain for the day. Judging by the second photo, he may already be wondering exactly what he is going to tell Mike Carr!
