2027 Club Tour
Plans are now in place for the return of the Victory Park Bowls Club Tour, taking place from Friday 30 April to Monday 3 May 2027.
Many members have said that they miss what was previously an annual club event. The tour was always a good way to kick off the season, bring everyone together and start the year on a positive note, so we’re pleased to be bringing it back for 2027.
This year’s tour will be based at the TLH Derwent Hotel in Torquay, with four days of bowls and social activities planned.
Tour itinerary
Friday 30 April
We will leave Cotswold Bowls Club at 9.00am and travel to Torquay. After arriving at the hotel for a buffet, we will head to Torbay Country Bowling Club for our first game of the tour at 2.00pm.
Saturday 1 May
The second fixture will be against Torquay Belgrave Bowls Club, with the game starting at 2.00pm.
Sunday 2 May
There may be a morning crazy golf challenge before we head to Paignton Bowling Club for another 2.00pm start.
Monday 3 May
On our final day we will travel to Weston-super-Mare for a fixture against Clarence Park Bowls Club. The game starts at 2.00pm, followed by a buffet before the return journey to Cotswold.
For all four bowling fixtures, the dress code is club shirt and greys.
The hotel
We will be staying at the TLH Derwent Hotel, part of the TLH Leisure Resort in Torquay.
The resort is close to the seafront and town centre and offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, nightly entertainment, restaurants and bars, a spa, gym and other leisure facilities.
Tour cost and booking
The cost of the tour is £330 per person.
A £50 per person non-refundable deposit is required, which must be paid by Friday 2 October 2026.
The remaining balance must be paid by Friday 19 March 2027.
The booking form allows you to specify whether you require a single, twin or double room, together with any special dietary requirements.
Completed booking forms should be returned to Les Hanley.
