Finals Day(s) 2025

🎉 Victory Park Bowls Club – Finals Weekend 2025

💚 Please come and support the Finals!
We encourage all members to come along from 10:00 am onwards. The bar will be open at lunchtime, and a light lunch will be available for those attending. Trophies will be presented to the winners as they leave the green. If you are able to help with the light lunch, please let Heather know.

A big thank you to all this year’s participants for their efforts in getting the games played on time. Only a couple of matches slipped past the “played by” dates, which is an excellent achievement.

For the Finals, all rinks will be drawn just before play begins. Players competing in more than one final on the same day will not be drawn on the same rink twice.

We are looking for volunteers to act as markers for the following five singles games:

  • Saturday 20th September – 10:00 am – Men’s 2 Wood (Paul Garraway v John Tombs) - Marker: D Jones
  • Saturday 20th September – 10:00 am – Ladies 2 Wood (Kate Jones v Heather Walker)
  • Saturday 20th September – 2:30 pm – Men’s 4 Wood (Paul Garraway v Paul Nicholls)
  • Saturday 20th September – 2:30 pm – Ladies 4 Wood (Debbie Hurford v Sue Wells)
  • Saturday 20th September – 2:30 pm – Mixed Handicap Singles (Heather Walker v Neil Chandler)
